What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Some are essential for a service to work; others help site owners understand how the site is used.

What we use (and don’t)

Essential only by default. On the free tier, InvoiceFormly sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your invoice data stays in your browser and is never used to track you.

Account session. If you create an account or upgrade to Pro, we set a single HttpOnly session cookie (user_session) so you stay logged in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Payments. When you check out with PayPal, PayPal may set its own cookies. Those are governed by PayPal’s Privacy Policy, not ours.

Analytics & Session Recording

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. Clarity captures anonymized session replays, heatmaps, and usage data so we can improve the product. It uses first-party cookies (_clck, _clsk) for session identification.

You can accept or decline Clarity cookies via the banner on your first visit. If you accept, full session recording is enabled. If you decline, Clarity runs in cookieless mode — basic analytics are collected but session replays and heatmaps are unavailable. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site.

Managing cookies

You can accept or decline analytics cookies via the consent banner. You can also block or delete all cookies in your browser settings; doing so may sign you out of a Pro account but will not affect free-tier use.
